Sitting inside Possibility

5 February 2023 | 10am – 2pm

Taking place around the time of Imbolc, the Celtic festival that marks the beginning of Spring, this change in season invites us to slowly re-emerge from the dark of Winter, to listen inside to the stirrings of our deepest desires and longings and to welcome the possibilities that can arise with the return of the light.

Drawing on gentle yoga, somatic movement practices, embodied enquiries, ritual and poetry, we will journey down into the felt sense of our bodies, attuning to the language of instinct and intuition, and listening to the feminine wisdom deep inside our bones.

As the natural world begins to re-awaken from the hibernation of Winter, we can feel the stirrings of new life that are beginning to emerge from within the dark. In the spirit of Imbolc (that translates from Gaelic to “in the belly”), we will turn our attention towards the seeds of desire and longing that are stirring within us, listening to the seeds that carry the potential for our fullness and aliveness and supporting these seeds in taking shape in our lives in the months ahead.

We will also support the settling of our nervous systems to bring us into a place of restoration and deep rest, as well as deepening our awareness of what brings joy and nourishment to our bodies.

It is my hope that this half day retreat will offer you the nourishment of renewed connection with your body and the medicine of gathering together within a circle of women. You will be offered somatic resources and guided meditation recordings to support you in your daily life.

This retreat takes place at 4 Tuckey Street, Cork, a beautiful soul space in the heart of Cork City. Tea and nourishing snacks are included.

Booking is essential. Please note - tickets are non-refundable but are transferable.
